Applications for registration as a physiotherapist
in Denmark are evaluated on an individual basis and may be submitted
in English or Danish. The application must be submitted in the
form of certified copies or original documents:
- Diploma in original language, as well as a translation into
Danish or English.
- A certificate from the authorities confirming that the applicant
has the right to practise as a physiotherapist in his/her country.
- A certificate from the authorities confirming that the applicant
is currently in good standing as a physiotherpiast in his/her
country.
- Curriculum Vitae
- Documentation of applicant's name, date of birth and nationality(e.g.
copies of relevant pages from passport).
- Applications from other countries than EU and EØS member
states:
From the education institution details regarding the education
program: admission requirements, date of entry into the program,
date of graduation and normal duration of the program. Regarding
theoretical education (subjects and number of hours in each
subject). Regarding clinical education (kind of wards/institutions)
where the experience has taken place and duration of each clinical
unit).
Further information/documentation regarding work
experience as a physiotherapist and further education (incl. Details),
may be useful and taken into consideration when assessing the
applicant's qualifications.
The documents above mentioned shall be originals or certified
copies. It means that the copies must be certified to be true
copies by a Danish embassy/ consulate, or by a Notary Public in
the applicant's home country, or by the embassy/consulate of the
country where the degree was obtained, or by a Notary Public in
Denmark.
